Package Itinerary Details:-

Day – 1: Guwahati Arriva

  • Our representative will meet and greet you at Guwahati Airport or railway station and then transfer you to Shillong.
  • En route, you will visit Barapani (Umiam Lake), a majestic placid lake surrounded by evergreen forest hills.
  • Thereafter you will be transferred to Shillong.
  • Upon arrival check into a hotel, have some refreshments and be at leisure. You can also go out for some sightseeing or stroll over the marketplace on your own.
  • Overnight stay in Shillong

Day – 2: Trekking at Cherrapunjee

  • Head for a guided trek to visit the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat Village.
  • Get amazed by walking over the roots of the bridge.
  • Proceed to the resort by evening at Cherrapunjee

  • Overnight Stay in Cherapunji

Day – 3: Tour of Cherrapunjee

  • After breakfast get prepared for Cherrapunjee Sightseeing. Today you will come across roaring waterfalls diving into deep down gorges.
  • Visit the famous Nohsngithiang Falls which is also known as ‘Seven Sisters Falls’, Nohkalikai Falls, Wah Kaba Falls, Dainthlen Falls and Mawsmai Cave which is a ‘Limestone Cave.
  • Visit Ramakrishna Ashram and David Scott Memorial Stone.
  • Later head towards Shillong, And visit the famous Elephant Falls

Day – 4: Shillong Sightseeing

  • Take away on an unforgettable day tour to Shillong as you are picked up at Shillong Police Bazaar at around 09:00 in the morning.
  • Visit the Wards Lake, Lady Hydari Park & Zoo, Cathedral Church and the green and serene Shillong Golf Course.
  • Later Visit Shillong Peak and the Elephant falls on the way and progresses.
  • In the end, Satisfy your knowledge urges at the Don Bosco Museum.

Day – 5: Transfer to Guwahati

  • Drive to Guwahati after breakfast.
  • Upon reaching Guwahati check into the hotel, freshen up and then we will go for a sightseeing tour.
  • Visit the Assam State Zoo, Navagraha Temple situated within Chitrashal Hills. In the evening enjoy the sunset cruise over Brahmaputra.

Day – 6: Nameri Tour

  • Proceed to the Nameri National Park which is around 223 km from Guwahati, situated within the foothills of eastern Himalayas. Upon reaching Nameri, transfer to a nature camp.
  • After lunch, we will go on a nature trail along the Nameri Reserve Forest.
  • Get accompanied by a knowledgeable forest guide and armed forest guards.
  • Trek at Nameri National Park as it allows you to get close to wildlife.
  • Return to the camp by evening.
  • In the evening you are free to visit the nearby Pygmy Hog Foundation and learn about the species of different animals.

Day – 7: River Rafting at Nameri River

  • Drive 25 km from the resort towards the Bhoroli River.
  • Go on for an exciting river rafting on the Jia Bhoroli River at Nameri. Here you will get a chance to see lots of migratory waterfowl.
  • After river rafting, return to the campsite for lunch.
  • After lunch go on a nature trek to see more wildlife or you can also do angling.

Day – 8: Drive to Kaziranga

  • Early morning head for Elephant Safari in the Kaziranga Forest.
  • Return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast go for a jeep safari in the national park to explore wildlife in the central zone.
  • Later return to the resort for unwinding yourself and have your lunch.
  • After lunch get ready for your second jeep safari of the day at the western zone of the park.

Day – 9: Kaziranga National Park Tour

  • Early morning head for Elephant Safari in the Kaziranga Forest.
  • Return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast go for a jeep safari in the national park to explore wildlife in the central zone.
  • Later return to the resort for unwinding yourself and have your lunch.
